Hello! There have been some lovely experiences recently at Mindful & Well Education, and I'd like to share with you. Here is the latest: I taught a weekend workshop for young adults in my home with my wonderful co-teacher, Missy. Missy is also a former educator who now owns her own coaching business called “Balance Your Life.” Together, we helped young adults ages 17-26 relax and reset through mindfulness, yin yoga, and journaling.
I also visited Woodland School in Portola Valley to teach a mindfulness and wellness class. My audience was a group of 11-13 year old boys-- the ultimate test for a meditation teacher. ;) But it was a success: they were engaged throughout the session and seemed multitudes more calm & centered by the end of the class.
I also hold private coaching at my home. These sessions are always personalized to the needs of my students. Usually, they incorporate elements of all four tenets of Mindful & Well Education: mindfulness, embodied movement, time outdoors, and heartfulness. I love this opportunity to get to know my students on a deeper level.
